THE DELEGATE RATES
Standard rooms £60.00 room & breakfast per night - any length of stay 6th - 9th October.
Executive bedrooms £85 per night including breakfast.
Rooms can be booked via our central reservations desk. This applies to delegates on production
of appropriate festival identification. All room rates are for up to 2 adults and 2 children sharing.
Rooms should be booked and confirmed a minimum of 7 days prior to arrival, as the rates will
be unavailable after that point & normal full rates will apply.

Festival delegates benefit from a 50% discount on food
and beverages in the Junction bar and restaurant on production
of their festival pass, event ticket or cinema ticket.

The first Black British film produced in the last ten years.John thinks his life is just perfect. He’s in what he considers a solid relationship with girlfriend Mary and hisjob as a tailor suits him down to the ground. To put the icing on the cake, he’s about to ask Mary to marry
him over the dinner that John has cooked specifically. With the ring ready, John is unprepared for Mary
announcing that she is leaving to find herself.

ONE LOVE
screened  Sunday 4th September -
ONE LOVE stars Ky-Mani Marley (reggae musician son of Bob Marley), Cherine
Anderson, new rising star blessed with a great voice. Also starring Vas Blackwood, legendary British actor. ONE LOVE tells the story of the forbidden love between a young Rasta reggae musician Kassa (Marley) and Serena (Anderson), the gospel singing daughter of a devout Pentecostal preacher.
Brought together through their mutual love of music. ONE LOVE explores how  the power of music and love can overcome the strongest cultural and religious differences. ONE LOVE features music from Sean Paul, Sasha and Ky-mani Marley.

You are now entering The Negro Zone, a hilarious film short confronting the many
stereotypes perpetrated on the black man… Submitted for your approval, three average African American males, about to start an average day, or are they? Meet Everyday Brotha, on vacation from his nine to five slaving away for “The Man.”Meet Work Brotha, educated and experienced about to start his first day at a new  office. Meet School Brotha, armed with a doctorate in Chemical Engineering he is an interning professor at a local university. What do all these brothas have in common? They are all living, learning and trying to survive in... The Negro Zone!

Four teenage fathers give their unique views on fatherhood, sex and relationships; fathers who feel that they
have until now, been categorised as ‘unheard voices’.

My Babies
A story about a woman, who like 40,000 in the UK each year finds herself pregnant, homeless and alone. It
follows her journey as she moves through the system and the way she turns her life around.
