PAMELA WINS PRESTIGIOUS AWARD

AND MEETS THE QUEEN 2004-05
Pamela Roberts has scooped another award for her work on developing
Breaking the Illusions, the southeast first black media festival.
She received the award in the media category at the prestigious 9th
Annual European Federation of Black Women Business Owners,
which took place at the Governor House Hotel, Park Lane.
Hosted by Rhoneke Philips from London News Network and
Kumanie Kwaine from BBC’s Casualty programme, the ceremony
was a glittering affair attended by the crème of national and European
black women business owners, celebrities and government ministers.
Pamela said that ‘I am delighted that my work and the festival has
been recognized both at a national and European level’.
Pamela’s work has not only been recognized by the European Federation
of Black Women Business Owners but by the Queen of England. Pamela
had been commanded by the Mater of the Household to attend the Christmas
reception, hosted by the Queen, as featured in the

Queen
Christmas speech at Buckingham Palace.
The reception is for those who have made a significant contribution to
national life.
Pamela said that ‘I am sill on cloud nine and will be for a long time. I
am absolutely thrilled to have met the Queen & Prince Edwards at the

memory that I will treasure for a long time.
