PERFORMS AN EXCLUSIVE UK CONCERT
UPRISING is an Exclusive Festival, a celebration of Reggaes rich and
diverse contribution to world music. When the promoters where doing
their market research into the most popularly demanded artists that
the UK Reggae Fans wanted to see in concert, 4 names kept popping
up…
The first three are iconic reggae ambassadors, Freddy McGregor is an
internationally acclaimed, Grammy Nominated Singer, Songwriter.
Barrington Levy has not performed in UK for over a decade, though
the UK remains dear to his heart, having scored two chart topping
hits in the 80’s “Under mi Sensi” and “Here I come”. Cocoa Tea has
been churning out hits for years and his cool toned, laid back
vocals always make him a favourite with reggae fans worldwide and
Stevie Face is the hottest new sensation everyone has been waiting
to perform since his award winning album “Tell it like it is” was
released last year. They are set was perform in front of thousands of
fans on Saturday 19th June 2010. At the world famous O2 Brixton Acadaemy.
